At least five people have been killed and 12 others injured in a Russian “double-tap” strike in Kharkiv, the regional governor has said.
Three rescue workers were among those killed when Russia struck a multi-storey building that had already been damaged in an earlier drone strike, in what is known as a “double-tap” attack, Oleh Syniehubov added.
Six people were wounded at the location, while another multi-storey building was hit by a drone, killing a 69-year-old woman, local officials reported. The remaining injuries were caused by missile strikes and shelling elsewhere in in the war-torn region, with 15 Russian drones recorded in total, Mr Syniehubov said.
