In this haircut video for kids, Oliver and Lucas go to their favourite barber shop to get a kids haircut and have some haircut fun!
Oliver and Lucas want to show you just how much fun it can be for kids to go to the hairdresser or barber and get a kids haircut. They love getting a haircut and so they go to their favourite barbershop to get the coolest haircuts.
If getting a haircut feels a little strange or scary, that's okay. You can talk to your parents, caregivers, or the hairdresser about how you feel, and they can help make the experience more comfortable for you.
Haircuts can be a fun way to change how we look. Some people like to try different hairstyles to express themselves. Getting a haircut is like giving your hair a little trim and making it look nice.
This episode was intended to prepare your child for their first haircut! Many children are scared of getting their haircut and watching other kids getting their haircut and enjoying the experience can help them overcome this fear.
When watching this episode your child will get a chance to familiarise themselves with what is involved with a kids haircut. The buzzing sound of the clippers, the scissors and hairdryer. It is important to familiarise your child with these sounds so they know what to expect before they cut their hair. For many kids cutting their hair can result in sensory overload.
