Gotta keep these cops honest and the way to do that (especially if you are white presenting) is to whip out that camera and start filming their asses. Notice they went up the stairs when they realized i wasn't going to stop filming them!?!?
Taking photographs and video of things that are plainly visible in public spaces is a constitutional right—and that includes police and other government officials carrying out their duties. As long as you are not interfering with their work, keep filming and remind them you know your rights under the First Amendment.
