In this tutorial, I'm painting a silk scarf with alcohol inks using what I call the rainbow dot technique.

The scarf is 100% Habotai silk, 8 inches by 72 inches. You'll see it's a fairly simple process that you too can try at home (be sure to be in a well ventilated room or use a respirator mask when painting with alcohol inks).

Please make sure to work in a well ventilated area and/or wear a respirator mask. I seal my artwork with a couple of coats of Kamar varnish spray followed by two coats of UV resistant spray.
