More of that Turner. Part 3 of 3...
This is a tweed Princeton amp built by Greg Powis at Retrosound in Melbourne. It has a 10" speaker instead of the 8". As far as I know this is a Weber parts amp.
Mic is an original Turner BD dynamic element. This one is Lo-Z and is my favourite with the Princeton. It is less gainey and has more of a woofy, farty, breathy, horn-like tone - which is kind of hard to capture through this computer, but what the hey.
This is a fun amp for practice and VERY small gigs with a sympathetic band. (I have used it for house parties with unamplified double bass, a stripped drum kit with brushes and a guitarist through a Deluxe).
Hope it helps any of my harp nerd compadres who might be suffering from Gear Acquisition Syndrome.
