Congress has dropped Supriya Shrinate as a candidate from Uttar Pradesh's Maharajganj for the upcoming elections. This comes even as Shrinate and Congress are struggling to defend a derogatory instagram post that was put up on her handle which targeted BJP's Mandi candidate Kangana Ranaut. In Shrinate's place, Congress has now fielded Virendra Chaudhary from Maharajganj.
