Scam emails come in all shapes and sizes nowadays. Spam email is usually easy to identify, but scams are often well-thought out and very believable.
In this video, Josh walks through a recent scam email he received and how he exposed not only the fraud but also the real intentions behind the scammer.
Believe it or not, the scammer wasn't looking for money, gift cards, my social security number or bank information. Rather, this was an elaborate ruse to try to get more links to one of their websites.
It goes to show the length to which some people will go to get what they want, posing as a fake lawyer, threatening fake lawsuits and creating fake websites just to get somebody to believe the scam is real.
