iRacing's first foray into console gaming is a resounding success. After purchasing Monster Games, the simulation platform has published a brand new official game for the World of Outlaws series - a real-world, American, dirt oval racing championship. It's available right now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series. It is not available on PC.

While it lacks all of the cars, tracks, drivers and teams of the competition, it bulks up the line-up through a mix of authentic and fictional, plus a non-linear career mode. There's also online (not cross-platform) and split-screen multiplayer. But, more than specs in a description, the feedback and sensation of driving is top-tier.
