Much-loved and versatile actor Bernard Cribbins has died aged 93. His birthday was last December. If you don't recognise the face then perhaps his voice as he starred in everything, from classical theatre, to films, television, children's programmes and songs for many decades and into podcasts at the time of his death, so working from the age of 14 to 93 (nearly 80 years). From Dr Who to the Railway Children (1970), The Wombles and many more work across the board and lots of comedy too. Always bringing a comedy element to his portrayals.
For me it would be for the Railway Children and the song "Right Said Fred" for a laugh, which I watch and listen to quite regularly.
Thanks for all the laughs.
