Truck drivers are essential workers that often transport much needed supplies and commodities over many days on the road, yet little is known about the challenges they face along the way.
In Chengdu, Guo Quan races against time to cross the Tibet border before the start of China’s Golden Week where the border will close for the holiday. He has to travel the most dangerous highway in China - the Sichuan-Tibet Highway. In the Himalayan town of Manali, Sonu and his trucking companion resume their interrupted journey to Leh, Ladakh, after surviving the worst natural disaster in Himachal Pradesh. The Manali-Leh Highway is surrounded by lofty mountains and covered in snow in certain parts, making it one of the most dangerous roads in India.
