The new Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 8 Global Edition and Fitbit Charge 6 should go on sale in the same week because Fitbit and Xiaomi have been at odds over fitness trackers for almost ten years.

These two fitness trackers are very different from one another, so be sure to read our full guide before making your choice.

The Charge 6 is unquestionably on the more expensive end of the fitness tracker market with a suggested retail price of $159/£139. Fitbit Premium for six months and one month of YouTube Music are both included in the price.

The Mi Band 8 is significantly less expensive than the Charge 6 at £39.99/€49.99. Although there isn't an official price for the US yet, it is predicted to be around $50.
