This insulated 5x5m garden cabin is a pent roof (single sloping flat roof) version of our Sevenoaks log cabin. We can make any of our cabins with a pent roof (even if the photos on our website just show it with an apex roof) for the same price as an apex roofed building. The only differences in the price would be the roofing material you choose to have on them. Given that pent roof cabins tend to be a very low pitch, felt shingles are not waterproof below 11 degrees. Therefore the usual choice is EPDM rubber roof (1 big sheet of rubber with no seams or joins for long tern water tightness - 20 year guarantee).
This particular cabin is our 35mm Twin Skin model which has a 35mm outer log, a 50mm insulated wall cavity and then another 35mm inner log to give a total wall thickness of 120mm. The thermal value of this particular cabin is equivalent to that of a house built in the late 1990's, so it's more than up to the job of an all year round garden room or garden office.
