Just a short video showing the outlining steps to make a carriage lock for your mini lathe. One thing that I did not note in the video was about the bolt hole for the locking bolt. I drilled the hole fully through with a regular drill bit. But in order to get a nice flat bottom counter bore for the bolt, I used an endmill on the drill press to bore down the depth I needed.
