Dr. Hall is the President of the Center for Sustainable
Healthy Care Quality and Equity (SHC), a part of the
National Minority Quality Forum. SHC is dedicated to
translating big data into usable information to promote
health equity through research, education, community
engagement, and practice transformation. Prior to
launching SHC, Dr. Hall founded the Center for Quality
at the American College of Physician, building the first national general internal
medicine registry. As the director of Performance Education, at the American College
of Cardiology, Dr. Hall designed, implemented, and evaluated practice improvement
programs built on registry data and evidence-based educational approaches. She served
as the deputy director of the National Alliance for the Mentally after working as a senior
scientific analyst for the U.S. Congress. Her career has focused on translation of research
into patient-centered, equitable health care and clinical research. Dr. Hall received her
PhD from the U.S. Naval Medical School and served post-doctoral fellowships at the
National Institutes of Health and Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public
Health. Laura Lee resides with her husband the Rev. Dr. John Price in the Annapolis MD
region and is the proud mother of Henry and Isabella Pazaryna.
