In this episode I go over how to make home made soap the old fashioned way. making soap out of wood ash and fat (tallow/lard) is kind of a fun project, but don't expect soap you can sell on amazon. its really just something that should be used if you absolutely have to. the labor and time involved isn't worth the result. first you need to make lye from wood ash (lye water), then you spend the rest of your life stirring it.
