What is considered to be normal? When does someone/something cross the boundary of normality and become abnormal? Who sets these criteria and for whom? Are these static categories?
In the third Curriculum Integration program of DEH themed "Normal, Abnormal and the New Normal” we will seek answers to these rather deceptively simple questions. The aim is to unpack these categories in order to shed light on the construction and conditioning process with their own accompanying politics – class, race, gender to name a few.
