Asura's Wrath, a game inspired by Asian mythology and fused with science fiction. Once a revered deity, Asura was betrayed by his fellow gods and stripped of all his powers. Consumed by anger at the injustice he has suffered and swearing vengeance, Asura discovers he can use this fury to his advantage and turn it against his enemies. By channelling his inner rage, Asura is now able to unleash devastating attacks and wreak havoc as he battles against the deities who have wronged him and their earthly forces. Inspired by episodic dramas, Asura's Wrath will be split into distinct sections with gameplay and narrative unfolding as one and building to a final climatic conclusion. Powered by Unreal Engine 3, Asura's Wrath is being developed by CyberConnect2 for PS3 and Xbox 360.

In diesem brandneuen Action-Game-Stil übernehmen Spieler die Steuerung von Asura und erleben anhand eines frischen Genre-Ansatzes eine Vermischung aus Action- und kinoreifen Sequenzen. Nach dem Demo-Download geht es auch schon direkt ans Eingemachte: Zwei Episoden von Asura's Wrath stehen als Anspielversion zur Verfügung. Spieler treffen auf dem Rachefeldzug sowohl auf den Boss-Gegner Wyzen, der mit planetarischen Ausmaßen aufwartet, als auch auf Asuras alten Mentor Augus, der ebenfalls zu den acht Gottheiten gehört, die ihn vor 12.000 Jahren betrogen haben. Mit einer Mixtur aus Knochen-berstenden Nahkampfattacken und Fernangriffen füllt sich Asuras „Burst"-Leiste, bis sich sein unendlicher Hass entlädt.
Asura's Wrath ist ab 24. Februar für Xbox 360 und PlayStation 3 erhältlich.
