Scores of actors, directors, film and theatre makers gathered at the Santa Rosa Roman Catholic Church in Arima on Wednesday to pay their final respects to theatre icon, Raymond Choo Kong, who was stabbed to death last week.
During his eulogy, friend and fellow actor/producer Trevon Jugmohan reflected on Mr. Choo Kong's lessons and his passion for training.
He called on members of the theatre fraternity to bring drama to communities to uplift society.
In his homily, Monsignor Christian Pereira, citing crime as a symbol of hate, said citizens should be reminded of the joy that Mr. Choo Kong brought.
