Furthermore, even while trapped within the Mirror Dimension Spider-Man was able to use his gifted mind as a genius to get the upper hand, using geometry to effectively trap Doctor Strange within the Mirror Dimension until the film's third act. However, does this mean that Spider-Man is just as powerful as Strange himself? While Peter Parker was incredibly resourceful during the fight using his spider-sense and his knowledge of Archimedean spirals to get the upper hand, the reason Strange likely lost was that he underestimated Spider-Man and what he was truly capable of. Case in point, Spider-Man winning his fight with the powerful sorcerer came as a surprise to the Webslinger himself. After all, Doctor Strange is the sorcerer who went toe to toe with Thanos in Infinity War when the Mad Titan had four Infinity Stones (and Strange still held his own).
In any case, it would certainly be interesting to see Strange and Spider-Man fight in the future, however unlikely that may be. Having seen Spider-Man and his spider-sense in action, it's likely that Doctor Strange would be more prepared for the Webslinger, though Peter and his brilliant mind would still make him a formidable opponent. Either way, the battle between the two heroes in the Mirror Dimension is definitely one of Spider-Man: No Way Home's most impressive sequences.
