Tern leverages their formidable manufacturing abilities to equip the Vektron with a hinge that’s overbuilt and effectively indestructible. Tern and Xtracycle recently teamed up to design a non-electric cargo bike, which required Tern to build a hinge that can withstand the stresses of a longer wheelbase cargo bike. This hinge was used in the Vektron to help support the added stresses of an electric bike.
