Checkout highlights from the first ever V8SuperTourers event held at Hampton Downs Motorsport Park. 16 Drivers lined up for the inaugural races with Greg Murphy in the M3 Racing Mike Pero Commodore taking 2 highly popular wins along side the young Ant Pederson who claimed top spot of the 35 lap feature race in the Banklink Falcon of International Motorsport.
Other podium finishers included Kayne Scott, Jonny Reid, Scott McLaughlin, Andy Booth, and John McIntyre.The variety of big names scoring different podiums is an example of the close unpredictable racing the V8SuperTourers provided to a bumper crowd enjoying the weekend of sunshine and a new era of spectacular motor racing.
