Im about three days in to a basement bathroom project. We have an unlevel concrete floor that needs to be fixed and we want a Curbless Shower built into the slab. I explain how we level the main part of the floor and we begin work on chipping a slope into the concrete in the shower area. The sand mix shower bed needs to be a minimum of 1/2" thick and we need to achieve a minimum slope of 1/4" per foot at the furthest point to the centre so that water can drain properly.
