Because your feet are suspended, you have to deal with an unstable environment that fully engages your glutes and hamstrings like few moves can.
Just be sure to move only at the hips without allowing your lower back to hyperextend to get false range of motion.
It's important to note that if you have a history of low back pain that it's best to first master this exercise with your feet on the floor or elevated onto a stable surface like a bench, box, or chair.
From there, rock the 2-leg TRX bent-knee hip extension and then take it to the next level by performing it on 1-leg.
