This video is just a small test for some rough systems I put together in Unreal Engine 4 to prototype a game inspired by classic Resident Evil.
Specifically: fixed camera angles, door/room transitions, and enemy targeting.
For enemy targeting I did something a little different. This project originally started out as a way to make a system in which you could target and attack specific parts of an enemy. But it ended up being similar to the up/down/forward system of classic Resident Evil games, so I built the rest around that.
