• Coordination of the high-resistance of the coil with the 50-Ohm path is realized by pressing the last coil of the coil against the reflector, the behavior of which was studied in the work of Slobodan V. • To eliminate the influence of hands when adjusting the impedance of the spiral to the impedance of the feeder, the matching unit is made of a bolt located on the reflector at a distance of 15 mm from the central pin of the N-type female block type, and a clamp on it made of tin from under a can of coffee, through which the wire is passed spirals (cable). By gradually turning the bolt, the high-resistance impedance of the coil is reduced.
• The HELIX characteristics were measured on an FA-VA5 vector antenna analyzer at a central frequency of 432.500 MHz in a band of ± 10, ± 50, ± 100 MHz. The working band of the antenna over 150 MHz at the VSWR level of less than 1:1.5 has been practically achieved.
• The soldering point of the spiral and the N-type central pin, including the dielectric sleeve, is covered with several layers of Plastik 70 clear acrylic lacquer.
• A metal tray 460 mm in diameter was used as a reflector. Its choice is due to its low weight, the presence of a ready-made stiffener along the contour and stainless steel material.
• The reflector is mounted on the boom using 4 perforated corners made of galvanized steel 2.5 mm thick and 8 bolted joints. The longer the shoulder length of the corners, the better.
• The corners were fixed on the boom with two stainless steel clamps 32-50 mm.
• Antenna orientation with fixation in azimuth and elevation is carried out by a combination of a U-bolt fastener with a plate from the nearest auto store (I am looking for stepped ribs) and a plate (temporarily made of alumoplast) with 9 fixing holes every 10° and two holes for U- bolt.
• Antenna weight with reflector and fasteners 2.54 kg.
