April 17 (Bloomberg) --- In 1993, Kris Tompkins walked away from her career as Patagonia's CEO, packed her bags and moved to Chile. Kris and husband Douglas Tompkins have since dedicated their lives to conservation projects in Chile and Argentina. Her current project: creating "the Yellowstone of South America."
