Today we're going to try two super quick & easy recipes , Banana Raita & the very popular Kerala Paal Payasam usually prepared during special festive occasions like Onam or Vishu. If you thought a banana could be used only for making desserts, then this Raita is definitely a pleasant surprise for you. This Banana Raita is a perfect blend of sweet and spicy & very refreshing too. There's hardly any cooking involved & can be prepared in under 5 minutes with the ingredients readily available in your kitchen.
And our second recipe is the classic Kerala Paal Payasam with just 3 ingredients rice, milk & sugar. Paal means milk in Malayalam. This creamy & rich Payasam is a nutritious dessert with all the nutrients of rice& milk & tastes so heavenly. Traditional preparation method of this Payasam is laborious & time consuming. So today we'll be trying the super quick method by using a pressure cooker which gives you the exact same result , the perfect pink Payasam with little effort. Even beginners and bachelors can try out this recipe with confidence. Trust me , it's a no fail recipe.

Ingredients for Kerala Paal Payasam:
Full cream milk 1 litre
Kerala Payasam rice ( Unakkallari ) 1/4 cup + 1tbsp
Sugar 1 1/4 cups
Ghee as required ( optional )

Payasam ingredients with 2 litres milk:
Full cream milk 2 litres
Kerala payasam rice ( unakkallari ) - 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp
Sugar 2 - 2.5 cups
