What are people doing on holiday in Corfu Greece? They sleep a little and explore a lot. So we went to see the islands of Paxos and Antipaxos. Departure was at 9:00 am from the port of Corfu Town.

Let's talk about time. Indeed, there were many hours spent at sea, but we enjoyed them very much.

Just after leaving the port we saw the old city of Corfu that is bounded by the two Venetian fortresses and the royal palace that currently houses the "Asian Art Museum".

The legend says that the island of Paxos belonged to Corfu. Poseidon, the god of the sea, in love with the Nymph Amphitriti promised her that he would make a place for them only. Thus, hitting the trident formed the island of Paxos. Poseidon's legend goes on to say that he built his palace in Paxos in one of the Blue Caves.

The first stop was at Blue Caves. It was a nice experience where everyone took their cameras and took lots of pictures.

After a while, we reached Antipaxos. Here we stooped for 45 minutes to swim. What's so great about Antipaxos? The answer is "the water" and its vibrant and splendid colors.
We were a bit upset by the fact that the swim break was too short and we wanted to swim more in Antipaxos.

Once arrived to Paxos island, everybody got out and started looking for a good place to eat.
We wanted to visit the island, so we ventured on the narrow streets of Gaios. We found a tiny beach where the water was turquoise and warm, perfect for a second swim.

We got back in the port of Corfu Town at around 19:15
