Follow up video. I have added this standby switching system to numerous old receivers. Stole the info from a National NC-300 diagram. It is safe, switches silent, very reliable method. The Hammarlund HQ-150 is known for whooping and popping when operating with a Ham transmitter. If you use headphones the result is very painful. This conversion is easy, no extra required parts, just rearrange wiring. You will be impressed with the resut.
