My first workbench was the $50 Family Handyman workbench. Then I got more interested in incorporating hand tools into my woodworking, so I threw together a 2x4 workbench and attached a tiny Irwin vise to the front of it. As I've gone deeper and deeper into this rabbit hole of a hobby, I realized I needed a better workbench. This is that workbench.
After some initial research as to what kind of vises I wanted, I got a good deal on the Rockler face and end vises around Black Friday and designed the bench around those two vises.

This workbench has been in use for a month or so and has already been extremely helpful. It took forever to edit the video because I capture way too much footage. I hope you enjoy the video, and maybe learn something that you can incorporate into your own bench build.
