⦁ The average occupancy of various Airlines has reduced drastically.. Vistara 52%, Air Asia 54%, Indigo 64%, Spicejet 67%, Go First 58%,
⦁ Passenger load factor of airlines pre covid in Dec 2019 : Indigo 90.1%, Spicejet 92.7%, Air Asia 84.3%, Vistara 81.1%, Go First 89.7%, Air India 79.4%
⦁ Passenger load reduced by over 1 lakh a day as compared to last week of Dec, 2021.
⦁ Average passenger load reduced from 3.7 lakh a day in Dec 21, last week to 2.5 lakh a day in Jan 1st week
⦁ Airlines reducing flight frequency by up to 30% on various routes
⦁ Currently, about 100 flights are being cancelled per day due to low passenger load
⦁ Indigo has announced a reduction of 20% of their flights
⦁ Airlines are coming up with heavily discounted fares and waiver of cancellation fees to lure passengers
