In this video I show you how easy it is to use a lav mic aka Lavalier microphone with a smartphone to get better sound in your videos.

I used the Rode smartlav+ Lavalier mic which is custom made to be used with mobile devices.

If you need a longer lead than the one that comes with the lav mic, you may need

The mic plugs directly into the headphone jack of Android phones but if you have an iPhone you will also need to purchase one of these adapters
