In this video I've used a 12v isolation board to send a signal to the Cerbo Gx device to show when my generator is running. I located my generator's run status wire and tested it and it sends 12v when it running so I can use this to trigger the isolation board to send a signal to the Cerbo GX. This board helps prevent higher voltages from accidently being sent to the Cerbo GX. The touching of the two wires connected to the CerboGX digital input will cause the generator signal to show Running or Stopped. The signal can be inverted in the generator device setting. You can also set an alarm as well
