The topic of the Presidential Election came up at the Institute of Policy Studies' 35th anniversary conference. During a discussion on diversity in Singapore politics, Law and Home Affairs Minister K Shanmugam said it is not the ruling party's fault that Tharman Shanmugaratnam is a strong candidate.
