pacifist run? his armor doesn't need many mantle, i think just 1 for alpha and 1 for beta set, every one of his weapons has an upgraded version that'll cost mantle, and a base version which costs none, keep that in mind, it's quite a rare pickup, spam paleco plunderblade steal skill (not the palarang or mount skill), go for double horn break(rare reward mantle for horn break, i've seen it, but forgot to get a screenshot)... and you know, if you get really good at fighting the monster he may even die one day...
