Try this 5 minute self shiatsu therapy routine for mobilizing the shoulder blades. This is an ideal routine for breaking up a long drive, or during a short break in between stints of extended sedentary work. This is meant to be a brief and easy routine, but there is lots more we can do to mobilize this area.
