Live recording from an infamous FWD+Rinse FM night held at Matter in London (within the O2 Arena). 'Matter' was Fabric's 'big sister' nightclub, having being owned by the same owners, including a 'vibrating' dancefloor. The interior design and aura of Matter provided a colossally-futuristic, dark-metallic yet intimate arena hall, featuring a caged-walk path which went directly across and above the dancefloor. This meant you could stand mid-path and look right above the crowd, 2-floors higher. For me, to this day, it's the only 'big-arena' venue that best matched the mood of similar underground music. I remember the sound system being extremely weighty, so much so that when the tune at 15:48 came in, I had to leave from being too overwhelmed from the vibrations of the dancefloor. Therefore it was sad news to hear when Matter closed later in 2010, but the memories live on.
