Candles, coal and wooden stoves: one restaurant in Kyiv's city center is doing all it can to keep welcoming its customers during the frequent blackouts affecting the Ukrainian capital.

"The restaurant is located in a building dating back to the 19th century," says restaurant manager Anna Boruk: "at that time, there was no electricity or heating in the building, so now it's like we've gone back in time."
