Ever wonder how to make the brioche stitch with crochet?
In this video I'll show how to crochet the brioche stitch. Traditionally, the brioche stitch design is made in knitting. This technique and design can also occur in crochet by using double slip stitches. These modified slip stitches create the 3D effect seen in the work. I have both a one color and two color brioche shown in this video.
For my sample I'm using several different types of yarn. In the opening sample, I'm using 100% acrylic yarn in a super bulky weight size with a 10 mm crochet hook. Throughout the tutorial I'm using a cotton and acrylic blend yarn, worsted weight with a 6.5 mm crochet hook.
