Make sure to use either ssh or some kind of ssh/bash utility via windows to login to your raspberry pi terminal. Or, you can simply go into your terminal on your raspberry pi/smart mirror and simply run a few commands:
cd ~/MagicMirror/config
sudo nano config.js
Then you're in the configuration file- which is where you want to be to add a few things. Also, if you want to add a module of choice- go here:
[ Ссылка ]
Just follow instructions for a given module - this usually consists of going into the modules directory by cd'ing into it, and then doing a "git pull request" line of code to install all the necessary files/folder for a given module. Then you simply have to add the snippet of code in the module's instructions to add a new module- that isn't shown in my demonstration in the video.
In the video- I show where you have to insert the openweathermaps api key (make sure to change locale/code for your given location). This will show up in the top right.
2) I show you where to put in the url for your google calendar or url for the .ics calendar of choice (it needs to be public). This will display up in the top left of the mirror- shown toward end of video.
3) Where to insert the .xml url- for a custom RSS feed to be shown at the bottom of the mirror.
I wish I could spend more time showing more that you can do to this- but really, installing and modifying the default modules or adding new modules is as easy as following the instructions for a given module or inserting the few lines/urls and keys that I show in the video.
