The technical features that are common to all the models are the three-lever Super Feather trigger with no over- or pre-travel and the floating barrel with double bedding. The metal parts of the X-Bolt Pro rifles are fully protected by a Cerakote finish. Compared to the traditional Browning X-Bolt, the design of these bolt-action rifles is distinguished by the fluted bolt and barrel, whose break-in – as in the best custom firearms – is done by hand.
During manufacturing process, any traces of machining are smoothed to improve accuracy and durability. Each barrel is triple checked by Browning for straightness, finish and air-gauged.
