FULL REVIEW:
I will be very honest with my review, i travelled all over stayed in 7 starshotel, 5 stars and even cheao hotels and this hotel for us is not bad at all, although no luxury yet you have the basics even when it comes to entertainment. It is mostly a family resort for locals but we dont mind at all.
FACILITIES: 3 STAR (outdated and need somehow attention) it is a small hotel you will be close to everything its a 1 min walk from lobby, beach, pool, buffet, ala carte, 3 bars
ROOM: (we got a new rennovated, everything in the room looks new, very basic and comfy, no luxury but clean, thank you Marcia for looking after our needs, coffee, plenty of bottled water, toilet papers, new towels everyday and beddings,etc. Fridge empty but we didnt care, we stayed the whole day on the beach with 1 snack back closeby and 2 bars serving nice cocktails and alcohol. (Premium alcohol not included, i tried dominican whiskey it was craxy good must try.Hot water is there, decent ac, nice balcony to sit and smoke, i wonder why tjey dont have hanging bars to dry clothes but the chairs were there anyway to hang.
BEACH: SARAGSUM is a problem not only in domican republic nothing we cohld do butbwe got lucky so far 3 days now we have a space to swim and dip, still here so will see later. What bothered me really are the vendors that comes every min, we sit on the beach to relax i dnt wanna keep wakin up when a take naps with vendors, howere we did massage on the beach for 20usd each it wasnt bad. They have enough beach beds to relax, towel bar very close its not true that there is no towels they do have and open at 9am everyday, u dnt have to wake up early to save a spot for you, you could even have 5 beds for yourself they have more than enough for all the guests. Snack bar is 1 min away and so the buffet and snack bar, what i love about this resort is i dnt have to walk a lot and no need for a cart to take you everywhere, it is ideal for people with walking issues.
FOOD: 4 STARS (Buffet No Luxury however they have everything fron protein you need, nice salads, vegetables, fruits, drinks, live cooking seafood, grilled chicken, beef and cerdo, enough desserts, they have an army to serve and assist all the guests dining altogether, buffet area very close to the beach and poolside. Ala carte is not so bad, they serve enough portion for dinner, we lived the dominican, mexican(not authentic) and seafood(fresh).
BARS: 4 stars They have 1 coffee bar next to the buffet and they serve amazing coffee capluccino, caramel cappuccino,etc They serve cocktails and cervesa, very attentive and hospitable. All baristas were friendly did not see anything negative but with the mosquitoes which is normal all over the world. They have full day security guy to look after the guests on the beach however still be responsible to your belongings.
BEACH BAR/POOL BAR: 3 stars (opens only at 10am and have limited but... very nice cocktail drinks, quick serving and nice dominican drinks.
SNACK BAR: 3 stars . They serve hotdogs, pizza and burgers with hot fries and softdrinks and juices, ive seen the kids enjoying the area very close to the beach and washroom
POOLS : 3 star ( small but not enough umbrellas, always full but not bad at all the ambiance was good to make you feel you are on a holiday) its a family resort we were amused to see kids around
Wines not included and premium whiskeys. ( they have but need to pay extra) they have housewine for Ala Carte but didnt try it
