We begin in Anambra state where the police command has arrested two suspects linked with the recent attack on a United States consulate convoy in Ogbaru Council area.
Commissioner of Police Echeng Echeng disclosed that a Joint Security Task Force raided the suspects’ hideout but met a deserted camp upon arrival.
The Commissioner stated that the victims, five male officials of the US Embassy and four armed police escorts from Lagos were on a mission to assess the impact of erosion in Ogbaru when their convoy was attacked.
