Full AP Jhin isn't particularly viable, of course, with only one AP ratio on his E traps, which aren't too difficult to avoid. However, one missed step or chained CC can lead to Jhin's W rooting an opponent on top of the trap. This intended combo is useful in all Jhin play, but is the core of the "AP Jhin Playstyle" and all three people in the world who practise it.
I was doing a "Commentary" stream where I would speedrun to 8th place with bad builds (with a willing pre, of course), and AP Jhin was one of the viewer suggestions for bad builds. Who knew it could have turned out this way?
