Fort Copacabana in Brazil was the site of history, where Para triathlon debuted at the Rio 2016 Games. It consisted of 750m swim, 20km bike and 5km run.
The men’s competitions included medal events in the PT1, PT2 and PT4 categories, while the women’s competitions featured PT2, PT4 and PT5 classes.
