Sometimes we try to make it perfect, but does it always have to be?
This table is a Facebook Market place find. I needed a table upgrade, and this seemed like a perfect replacement for my old hand built farmhouse table. The existing finish was spent and uncared for. The finish was completely stripped down. General Finishes Gel stain was applied, and the table was resealed again in a Satin Polyurethane finish. I love how this table fits into my space. There are so many ways to tackle these refinishing projects. Hope you enjoy the transformation!

Perfection can be achieved
On this Table that you see
But I want to show its memories
Even the ones that came from unfamiliar families.

Tables are one of the places
Where people gather, and where you see familiar faces
Sharing your days, months and years
Decades pass, sometimes along with the ones we hold dear.

Around this table, everyone knows
As time goes on, we sit around it and grow.
Recanting the stories of our lives
It's crazy to think how time flies.
