With features from Master P (into) and Snoop Dogg (song cameo) was the West Oakland duo of Steady Mobb'n (Crooked Eye and Billy Bavgate) who were signed to Master P's No Limit record label and whose releases included the single "Ghetto Life" off the album "Black Mafia." While that album cover, with its trademark 1990's No Limit bling-heavy imagery, and the swagger of Steady Mobb'n and crew might give off the impression of unlimited wealth forever, reality would be a lot harsher for one member. Sadly economic woes, bad luck and health issues would follow Steady Mobb'n member Crooked Eye later in life - as outlined in the excellent but sad Amy Goodman / Democracy Now report on homelessness in Oakland when she interviewed the now homeless, former rap star in East Oakland near Fruitvale BART. If you missed that video we reposted the part with the Steady Mobb'n member here = [ Ссылка ]
