It's hard to imagine a more perfect Sunday here in DC! I started my day at the Dupont Market where I had one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had, sampled LOTS of fruit, and loved looking at all of the different market booths. After the market I went back to my hotel and changed for church at Washington National Cathedral. All I can say is... wow! The beauty of the church and grounds was matched by the beauty of the service. I loved seeing the Space Window, the Darth Vader gargoyle, hearing the bells, and exploring the beautiful grounds. After church I grabbed lunch and then enjoyed some relaxing pool time before checking in for my work event this week and heading to dinner with friends.
This was exactly the kind of day I needed heading in to what could be a heavy week.
