Canada will no longer require pre-arrival COVID-19 testing for vaccinated travellers as of April 1, according to a federal source.

Travellers must still show proof of at least two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine at the border and in order to board a plane, train or cruise ship.

Airline passengers arriving in Canada may still be subjected to random PCR testing and travellers will still have to fill out the AriveCAN app to show proof of vaccination.

Under the current rules, travellers entering Canada are required to present proof of a negative COVID-19 antigen test taken within a day of travel.
