If you've ever eavesdropped on a couple of voice over actors talking shop, you might have heard the terms "Pick Up" and "Punching In" ... but what do they mean and what's the difference? For voice over actors who work from home, recording pick ups are a fact of life (and they can be tricky!) Don't worry though, because in this short video I explain the different ways to record pick ups (like "punching" and "recording wild") in a voice over session via source-connect, with a commercial voice over studio, and at home.
